Dr. Brown was one of three US eye surgeons who traveled to Tobago to render free medical surgical eye care to needy patients who otherwise would have remained severely visually impaired or blind. Dr. Brown is the team ophthalmologist for the Southern NH University athletic teams, the Manchester Monarchs professional hockey team, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats professional baseball team and the Manchester Wolves professional Arena 2 football team. He was chosen by his peers as the “Top Doc in Ophthalmology” by New Hampshire magazine as the ophthalmologist that most physicians in the state would choose to care for them or their family. Dr. Brown has been doing laser vision correction since 1991, and was involved in investigative clinical research for VISX in the early 1990's. Dr. Brown has substantial experience with the LASIK procedure - the most commonly done refractive surgical procedure, and uses the Visx Star 4 tracking laser and is certified to perform Customvue Wavefront treatments. Dr. Brown is married, and has three children. Dr. Brown is an avid outdoor enthusiast, and thoroughly enjoys the four seasons in New Hampshire. He enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities that include bicycling, skiing, boating and hiking. |

Dr. Corbit earned the Bachelor of Science degree from Hamilton College in 1963 and the Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 1967. He completed a medical internship at the Medical College of Virginia in 1968 and served as a physician in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Indiana University Medical Center in 1973 and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Corbit has been doing laser vision correction since 1991, and was involved in investigative clinical research for VISX in the early 1990's. He uses the most recent instrumentation; the Visx Star 4 with tracker and expanded treatment zone and is also certified to perform Customvue Wavefront treatments. Dr. Corbit is chairman of the Physician Advisory Committee to the N.H. Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, and was instrumental in the development of the Lions Eye Clinic located in Manchester, NH, providing free eye care to financially disadvantaged people in our state. Additionally, he conducts a monthly free eye care clinic at the New Horizons facility in Manchester. Dr. Corbit is married and has three grown children. He enjoys hiking, skiing, and sailing and is a performer and board member in the Manchester Choral Society. |

Dr. Gold earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland at College Park and Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed a medical internship at Boston City Hospital and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Tufts New England Medical Center. He then completed a retina fellowship at University of Pennsylvania-Scheie Eye Institute. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He was the first eye physician to perform vitrectomy surgery in Manchester. Dr. Gold specializes in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous. This includes treating disorders such as age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment. He is currently Chairman of the Ophthalmology Section at Elliot Hospital. Dr. Gold is married and has three children. He enjoys hiking, tennis, boating, and skiing. |

Susan Tucker completed her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. She then did a year of internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, and a year of internal medicine residency at St. Michael's Hopital in Toronto. Her Ophthalmology residency was completed at the University of Toronto. She then did two fellowships in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery; the first at West Virginia University and the second at Moorfield's Eye Hospital in London England. Dr. Tucker was director of oculoplastic and reconstrucitve surgery at Southern University of Illinois for 4 years, then at Boston University for 2 years. She joined the Lahey Clinic in 2000 as director of oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery and is an assistant clinical professor at New England Medical Center in Boston. She specializes in cosmetic and functional surgery including Botox injection, facial fillers, eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the European Society of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the New England Ophthalmological Society. |

Robert E. Allard, OD Dr. Allard was born and raised in Manchester, N.H. attended elemenary and high school in Manchester, and graduated from St. Anselm College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He served in the United States Army for two years, and then entered the Illinois College of Optometry where he graduated and received his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Allard has served as director of the Eye Clinic at a multidisciplinary health center in Boston, and has also served as an associate professor of clinical optometry, and as a contact lens instructor at the New England College of Optometry in Boston for twenty years. Dr. Allard joined N.H. Eye Associates in 1989, and is very happy to be back in Manchester. |

Dr. Allard has lectured extensively nationally, and is the author of a number of nationally published articles regarding clinical care and contact lenses. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the N.E. Council of Optometry as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a member of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Allard is married and has two children. Their daughter is married with two young daughters and is a practicing optometrist in Andover, Massachusetts. Their son is a member of the United States Coast Guard and lives with his wife and two young sons in Williamsburg, Virginia. |

Thomas Lubelczyk, OD Dr. Lubelczyk, a native of Manchester, NH, is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. He received his Doctorate in Optometry in 1982 from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. While an optometry student he participated in two VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity) trips, delivering eye care to the indigent. One trip was to Gomez Palacio in Durango, Mexico, and the other to an American Indian Reservation in Northern Wisconsin. Dr. Lubelczyk is also a member of the New Hampshire Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Lubelczyk does eye examinations and contact lens fittings. |
