Anthony J. Correnti, MD

Anthony CorrentiDr. Correnti earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in 1999 and received his medical degree with research honors from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2003. He completed a medical internship at Roger Williams Medical Center and completed his ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center/Stony Brook University where he served as chief resident. Dr. Correnti then received his post-residency training in Birmingham, Alabama, where he completed a two-year clinical fellowship in medical and surgical vitreoretinal diseases given by the Helen Keller Foundation for Research and Education and the American Society of Ocular Trauma.

Dr. Correnti is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a fellowship-trained specialist in diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula. He treats a wide variety of retinal disorders including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, macular holes, macular pucker, and retinal detachments among others. He has co-authored several papers and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, American Medical Association, and the Helen Keller Foundation for Research and Education.

Dr. Correnti currently resides in Bedford with his family. He enjoys cooking, hiking, and bocce.
